Leo XIV appoints enemy of Roman Mass, Archbishop Viola, as archpriest of St. Peter’s – “More to the left than Andrea Grillo”, wears Bugnini’s ring. Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Archbishop Vittorio Francesco Viola, 61, O.F.M., as Archpriest of St. Peter’s Basilica, Vicar General for Vatican City, and President of the Fabric of St. Peter. He succeeds Cardinal Mauro Gambetti. Monsignor Viola will likely be created a cardinal, as every listed Archpriest of St. Peter’s for hundreds of years has been a cardinal. In 2021, when he was Bishop of Tortona, Francis appointed him Secretary of the Dicastery for Divine Worship. Viola’s career was strongly supported by Archbishop Domenico Sorrentino, who served as Prelate of Pompeii, Secretary of the Congregation for Divine Worship, and later Bishop of Assisi. In Assisi, he worked closely with Viola, who was active in Franciscan, liturgical, and charitable work. Archbishop Viola is part of the circle inspired by Archbishop Annibale Bugnini, the architect …अधिक
Concubinages may contain “authentic love” - Leo XIV-appointed Bishop at the 'Amoris Laetitia' meeting. At the Vatican meeting marking ten years of Amoris Laetitia, Bishop Stephen Fernandes, 65, spoke on October 9 about accompanying unmarried couples. Leo XIV had apointed him as auxiliary bishop of Bombay, India, in October 2025. Discussing differences between countries, Bishop Fernandes said: “The Gospel remains one, but pastoral pathways cannot be identical everywhere.” Addressing cohabitation, he said that “we should resist both indifference and condemnation.” He proposed asking: “What is already good in their relationship? Where can we discern signs of generosity, fidelity, responsibility and grace?” Fernandes also questioned whether moving such couples toward marriage should be the sole objective: “The question is not simply: How can we move this couple towards a wedding? It is also: Are these two people truly called to marriage, and are they ready to enter into a lifelong marital …अधिक
I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUG CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME Liturgy of October 11, 2026– 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time Dear brothers and sisters, let us allow ourselves to be inspired and guided by saints like Saint Paul—who belong, so to speak, to the Church’s "special forces." Indeed, in the passage from his Letter to the Philippians that we're going to listen to on Sunday, October 11, Saint Paul invites us to let God empower us—in body and spirit—so that, like him (who was "trained for anything: plenty and hunger, abundance and want”, because he could do everything through Jesus who gave him strength, —cf. Phil 4:12-13), we too may become capable of facing every situation, even the most extreme, in order to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel to our brothers and sisters. In fact, as Jesus will remind us in the passage from the Gospel of Matthew, God the Father invites every man and women to renounce their vain plans and useless ideologies in order to share in the extraordinary feast He is …अधिक
Bishop Athanasius Schneider warned that Pope Leo XIV’s Vatican meeting on Amoris Laetitia “will not have fruit and meaning” unless the disputed teaching is corrected. In an interview with Michael Haynes, he condemned the interpretation approved by Pope Francis as “against divine law” and “a direct attack on the ineffable sanctity of the Eucharist.” Schneider insisted that the meeting must address the controversy with the Pope, arguing that the current practice cannot continue. He also denounced a new Vatican document commemorating Nostra Aetate as “a pure expression of relativism” and “a very cunning form of denial of the uniqueness of Jesus Christ,” declaring: “This is a betrayal of Christ.”
This… is not great news. For years, Viola has been identified as the éminence grise (no pun intended) behind Cardinal Roche’s maneuvers against the Traditional Latin Rite. Now, he is elevated to a central position in the Vatican, and as a probable future Cardinal.
During the Vatican meeting marking the tenth anniversary of Amoris Laetitia, Pope Leo XIV and Cardinal Mario Grech both used language suggesting that different local Churches may develop different "pastoral" approaches. As so often with synodal language, the implications remain ambiguous: neither explicitly says that different countries may adopt contradictory teachings or sacramental rules. Leo XIV called for episcopal conferences and local Churches to discern “new paths.” In his October 7 address, he said: “Moreover, the diversity of the situations from which we come can become a gift for the discernment of the whole Church.” He later spoke of experiences brought from different cultural contexts, adding: “This will nourish the pastoral discernment of the Episcopal Conferences and the hierarchical structures of the Eastern Churches. It will likewise help the local Churches recognize new paths, and draw all the baptized more deeply into the Church’s synodal journey.” Grech: Reception of …अधिक
The parish of St. Francis of Assisi in Raleigh, North Carolina, celebrating on social media its participation in the homosexual Pride march in Durham on October 3. The parish says its homosexual ministry was founded in 1999 and has participated in Durham Pride since the early 2000s. Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama of Raleigh has met this public activity with silence.
After posting one Colombian who was spared by the Russian Soldiers, this one didn't make it. He died in the war. This is not unusual. Ukraine is desperate for men. When men sign up, they are badly miss treated and forgotten on the front lines. And one proof after the other is posted. However, there are a few who side with the globalist and elites and spread propaganda. And they insist Ukraine is winning. Russia has invaded Ukraine. When they were all proven to be nothing but propaganda. Proof is what people should seek. Not mere words and fake pictures and such. I and a few others on gtv will keep bringing you the truth. If you decide to ignore it and still defend Ukraine, then that's your choice. But I prefer truth and proof over lies and hatred. Sorry, but that's just how it is.

And because the disorder began in and through humankind, my justice causes there to be some bitterness even for other creatures, which exist for the sake of humans, so as to temper their pleasure and foster their means of nourishment. For this reason, people are born with pain and make toilsome progress in order to render them eager to hurry to their true rest. They die naked and poor in order to make them restrain their disorderly behavior and fear the coming examination. Likewise animals, too, …अधिक

Canada plans to permanently exclude people with mental illness alone from euthanasia. The expansion was due in March 2027. Justice Minister Sean Fraser cited two reasons: no medical consensus on when mental illness is incurable, and poor access to psychiatric care. However, the Liberals voted against a Conservative bill seeking the same ban. They argued its wording was too broad. Instead, they plan their own bill, combining the ban with a proposal to allow advance euthanasia requests for patients with dementia. Critics accuse the government of using the ban to push through this expansion.
Ukraine Isn’t a Charity Case, It’s the World’s Top Military School All of the military tacticians in the world are studying this modern war and Ukraine’s ability to innovate and produce (under the most austere, wartime conditions) new drone technology on the cheap. Ukraine’s success in blunting the entire conventional army of Russia with the use of drones has every military strategist reassessing tactics and equipment. While drones cannot win wars by themselves, they can deter even armored forces from invading a country with impunity.
Here is one of your buddies Jeff. You sound so much alike. But you do quote and support them. So no wonder. NATO chief says ‘almost sure’ is enough to blame Russia Mark Rutte expressed support for countries that try to pin almost any incident on Moscow NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte has urged member states to blame any incident they find suspicious on Russia even if they lack irrefutable evidence. He also hailed a recent accusation made by Estonia against its eastern neighbor and called on other nations to follow suit. And old saying goes, takes one to know one. Jeff and Rutte and his daddy Trump!
Gee @Instaurare Omnia in Christo I'd love to comment but you're a BLOCKER! Besides you believe everything Russia propaganda puts out and not the Catholic Church's teachings on this subject, so whatever!
If a person leaves GOD'S True Home for the scandals of men, then they are not listening to GOD. This is why I am totally against scandals that overwhelm GTV. One of the main reasons.
Not without Russia being rewarded for their aggression into Crimea and the Donbas. In essence, Trump is saying, "Ukraine could have capitulated at any time," but that would never have been just to the Ukrainians, and it would allow Putin to get away with his stealth invasion which began clear back in 2014. By the way, I repeat what Putin told Tucker Carlson in his Moscow interview, that Stalin put the two Russian speaking areas of the Donbas into the boundaries of Ukraine, but claimed not to know why. He's lying. The reason is obvious: it provided a pretext for a future invasion after Russia pulled off the long-planned phony fall of the Soviet Union.
