Mar 6 Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops push for peace in the Middle East The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops have done the right thing in releasing a statement about the latest war in the Middle East. The bishops remind the faithful that the only answer to conflict is peace, diplomacy and prayer. In war, we're all defeated. Sadly, there are Christians and even a number of evangelical pastors who are telling their congregations to support the military operation against Iran. This is not the Christian answer. Mar 6 Univeristy of Toronto discriminates against those who don't believe in the religion of DIE Don't believe in the secular woke religion of DIE, diversity, inclusion and equity? Well, don't bother to apply to be a professor at Canada's progressive University of Toronto? Of course, "All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply," and go through the process. Just don't expect any diversity heretic to be hired. Inclusion ends where politically correct diversity starts …
Kelsi Sheren on her substackon March 2, 2026 Jonathan Reggler, a retired Vancouver Island family physician and active MAiD “provider” (Dr who poisons people to death), recently offered a moment of radical honesty in If life is not sacred, then nothing is off the table. The above quote show’s the world who this “Dr” really is.That belief that God doesn’t exist and he can take life just as God can not stop at the elderly. It does not stop at the disabled. It does not stop at the depressed and it will not stop at children.Do you remember when MAiD was sold to Canadians as an act of mercy for the terminally ill. Those already dying, those in unbearable physical pain, those with no alternatives. That frame has collapsed with stunning speed. Lies, all from the start.Track 2 MAiD now includes people whose sole underlying condition is disability, chronic illness, or mental suffering. The safeguards keep loosening. The language keeps softening. What was once “unthinkable” has become “…
Ontarians and those living in other Canadian provinces ought to support the campaign by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms to "Protect the public from the politicization of Ontario's regulatory bodies." The woke agenda has become a way to attack free speech and used to cancel people. It's an authoritarian approach which undermines the common good and democracy. These harmful progressives policies must be stopped. The JCCF has a strategy to do So: Send a letter to the Attorney General of Ontario and the Premier urging them to amend provincial legislation governing regulatory bodies to prohibit any form of compelled speech or ideological enforcement. When regulators directly or indirectly compel members to express certain views, or embed political ideologies into mandatory courses or codes of ethics, they erode public trust and compromise the essential independence of the professionals they oversee. Fri Feb 27, 2026 - 3:15 pm EST MONTREAL, Quebec (LifeSiteNews) — A historic Catholic church in Montreal, Canada, was reduced to near rubble in a huge blaze, the cause of which investigators still have not determined. The over 100-year-old Saint-Paul Catholic Church in Montreal, Quebec, went up in flames on February 23. A food bank next to it was also reduced to ashes. The church was built in 1910 and holds significant historical meaning for the local community. While the church has been vacant for some time, about 148 people had to flee the area due to the flames, including over 70 seniors who lived in a nearby care home. The cause of the church fire, say investigators, is not yet known; however, it comes at a time when arson attacks on Catholic churches in Canada have reached epidemic-like proportions. Mayor of the local borough of Saint-Paul’s, Véronique Fournier, in a statement on social media, said the fire is “challenging for the residents of Côte-Saint-Paul” as the church has …
The only hate and discrimination that is allowed in Canada today is towards Christians and Christian belief. Had this and other Christian churches destroyed been mosques or synagogues it would have been front page news for months. Not so with Christian churches,
U.S. gold medalist Alysa Liu and her Chinese family have a story of dissent, standing up for the Uyghurs, and being harassed by CCP spies. by Massimo Introvigne Liu after her Olympic triumph. Credits. The Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics have concluded, but the most unusual story from these Games is not about a disputed score, a judging scandal, or a world record. It revolves around a young American athlete who won gold while a man once hired by the Chinese Communist Party to spy on her family was being prosecuted back home in the United States. Alysa Liu, now 20, has always skated with incredible lightness, but few spectators understood the burden she carried off the ice. Long before she became the United States’ newest Olympic champion, she was the daughter of a Chinese dissident who fled his country after the Tiananmen Square massacre. Before stepping onto the podium in Milan, she had been watched—not by judges or fans—but by agents acting on behalf of the Chinese state. Her story …
Error has no rights saying every opinion needs a hearing is false the church had the index of forbidden books for a reason. Pollution of Rock music to hippy religion (drugs ,sex, rock and roll) turned the west into culture Marxism on steroids . Degenerated west cant stand the truth because the light of truth hurts there pride We are at war chose this day who to serve . City of God or City of man
I reflected, some time ago, that when I pray for a person's salvation, I am praying for pain. People don't change when all is well. I have seen my prayers have effect in life changing pain which has led or deepened my loved one's faith. The same can be said of communication. If what you say never makes me uncomfortable, it can add no value. We talk because we don't want to hit. Blocking uncomfortable speech leaves only violence as a means of coming to a common view, and we have seen just that. Good article on an important topic.
Mon Feb 23, 2026 - 2:29 pm ESTTue Feb 24, 2026 - 6:31 am EST CHICAGO (LifeSiteNews) — A man saved an eight-month-old baby girl from drowning in Lake Michigan after he jumped into its icy waters. Lio Cundiff, 30, was taking a walk along Belmont Harbor in Chicago while wishing a happy belated birthday to his aunt on the phone when he heard a woman scream and saw a stroller with a baby inside swept into Lake Michigan by a strong gust of wind. “I wasn’t going to let that baby die,” Cundiff, who reportedly does not swim, told Fox10 from a nearby hospital, where his heart was being monitored after the rescue. “I immediately dropped my phone, threw my jacket off,” Cundiff told Block Club Chicago. “I realized the woman was in too much shock to do anything, which is more than understandable. So I thought, ‘I guess I’m going in.’” Cundiff jumped into the water and grabbed ahold of the stroller, with the baby still strapped in. “I just held the stroller up,” Cundiff said. “I was thinking …
Osemmesačné dievčatko bolo 19. februára zmietnuté do jazera Michigan, keď silný vietor strhol do vody jeho kočík v blízkosti prístavu Belmont Harbor v Chicagu, USA. Jej opatrovateľka kričala o pomoc. Tridsaťročný Lio Cundiff, ktorý údajne nevie plávať, videl, že žena "je v príliš veľkom šoku, aby niečo urobila". Skočil do ľadového jazera, chytil kočík a držal ho nad hladinou, aby zabránil potopeniu hlavy dieťaťa.
