Report: Consistory Agenda Changed Because of FSSPX Consecrations

The proximity of the consistory (Friday and Saturday) to the FSSPX consecrations (Wednesday) has allegedly prompted Leo XIV to remove the liturgy from the consistory's agenda. This information was published by Nico Spuntoni on IlGiornale.it, who cited an anonymous cardinal as his source. Although "synodality" was already discussed in January, it has returned to the agenda.
Spuntoni adds three more pieces of information.
- Notable absences at the consistory due to ill health include conservative Cardinals Joseph Zen (Hong Kong), Péter Erdő (Budapest), and Willem Eijk (Utrecht).
- There is unease among the professed members and religious sisters of the Priestly Fraternity of St Pius X, who do not wish to risk incurring a possible excommunication.
- The consistory's agenda has not generally generated enthusiasm among cardinals. Some also dislike the Synod Secretariat's method of working in small groups.

Iran is consistently inconsistent, contradicting the US at every turn

From the Iranian negotiations, a strong pattern has emerged: anything the U.S. says that they’ve agreed to, they deny. This has happened repeatedly, to the point where we have to ask ourselves why they reject our statements? Are our government officials misunderstanding them? Do Trump and Vance purposely misstate what has been agreed to? Or does Iran think that their defiance and disagreement give a picture of strength and victory for their side?
To demonstrate the frequency of these denials, let’s take them
one at a time:
Vance confirmed yesterday in a press statement that the United States had agreed to release some Iranian funds, provided there is progress in negotiations between the two sides. He added that the move would benefit American farmers and noted that the funds would be used to purchase American agricultural products. U.S. President Donald Trump likewise emphasized that Tehran would use the released funds to buy American goods.

The Iranians have been crystal-clear and unchanging about all of the main points in their 14-point document since long before the document was released. They consistently deny that they have agreed to what the US says they've agreed to because the US is consistently lying about it for the purpose of affecting markets and forming western public opinion.
The Iranians haven't changed, the US is lying, and the rest of the world (ex-EU) is watching and knows it.

"Leo XIV Continues Francis' Program, Empowers Hardened Synodalists"

After the election of Leo XIV, Aldo Maria Valli wanted to believe in the new pope and in the possibility of a change of direction, he admitted on his blog on June 25. Valli was the longtime Vatican correspondent for Italy’s public broadcaster, RAI.
But: “The cold shower (or rather, a whole series of cold showers) quickly woke me from that dream in the form of statements fully in line with the Bergoglian disaster and a succession of ‘peace & love’ initiatives, marked by a shallow humanitarianism completely devoid of references to transcendence, sin, conversion, and the salvation of the soul.”
On the consistory on Friday and Saturday, he writes: “Under Leo XIV, the Church is not merely avoiding any reversal of course; it is enthusiastically reaffirming the synodal model, transforming it into a permanent method of ecclesial governance.”
Valli points to the names of the cardinals (Ryś, Fernández, Brislin, and Grech) chosen to lead the principal sessions. It is, he says, a gathering of …Mususu

FSSPX Bishops' Coats of Arms: Lions, Wheat, a Swan, and a Lamb

Today, the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X has published the coats of arms and episcopal mottos of the four bishops to be ordained on Wednesday.
Fr Pascal Schreiber's Family Lions
Fr Pascal Schreiber has chosen the motto Virgo Fidelis ("Virgin Most Faithful"), one of the invocations from the Litany of Loreto. Episcopal mottos are usually drawn from the Bible or express the bishop's personal mission.
His coat of arms contains personal references. The two lions are taken from his family's coat of arms. Each holds a golden quill, a canting reference to the surname Schreiber ("scribe"). The colours black, red, and gold are a nod to his German homeland.
Fr Michael Goldade's Twelve Ears of Wheat
Fr Michael Goldade's motto, Adeamus cum fiducia ("Let us go with confidence"), comes from Hebrews 4:16.
The defining feature of his coat of arms is the twelve ears of wheat. Besides symbolizing the Eucharist, they recall North Dakota and Kansas, his places of origin and upbringing, also his …Mususu

Hell: A sermon by St. Robert Bellarmine.
joboww on Oct 19, 2016 A sermon by St. Robert Bellarmine, read by Charles Coulombe. Like a spash of cold water on the face, this is a wake-up call describing our skewed perspective of reality. Despite the enormous stakes of either Heaven or eternal torment, we still choose to serve ourselves over God, for fickle pleasures which don't even truly make us happy. This talk covers the tremendous gravity of sin, the overwhelming happiness in Heaven versus the unthinkable suffering in Hell, the endless NOW of eternity and the despair and rage of the damned.

What God Values, World Despises
The world often misunderstands and undervalues spiritual pursuits, viewing them as wasteful. However, from God’s perspective, these pursuits are invaluable and essential for spiritual growth and becoming saints. We should embrace this perspective, focusing on God and living our lives for Him, regardless of worldly judgment.

SSPX OPEN LETTER INCOMPLETE ON VATICAN COUNCIL II

25.06.2026
SSPX OPEN LETTER INCOMPLETE ON VATICAN COUNCIL II
The Society of St.Pius X (SSPX) in its Open Letter, a Profession of Faith has not affirmed Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, interpreted rationally, in harmony with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus of the Council of Florence 1442 etc. In his Declaration of Faith too, a few weeks back, Fr. Davide Pagliarani affirmed the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus, without clarifying that there were no known exceptions of the baptism of desire and being saved in invincible ignorance, in our human reality in 2026. So confusion persists with this new Open Letter, especially in the section on ‘the Church’.
1. It was reported that Fr. Pagliarani and Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandez interpret the Catechism of Pope Pius X irrationally and schismatically. There is no comment on this subject in this Letter. They agree with me.
2. It has also been pointed out that the SSPX interprets LG 16 as …

Purgatory by FX Schouppe, SJ, a french Catholic theologian who died in November, 1904 details the place where saved souls go before Heaven. Think of it as a temporary cleaning or purging place for those who aren't going to Hell. Fire, burning and intense pain for various lengths of time make up the experience of Purgatory. The author details eyewitness accounts and blood chilling stories from the perspective of a number of saints who went through it. We can pray, give alms and have Masses said for the souls in Purgatory to shorten their and our time there. This book really turned me around! Venezuela, on the same day of celebrating a false saint, a thing which the church allowed and perhaps encourage (religious differentism), suffered a gigantic earthquake. Thousands are missing and feared dead, THEY... KNEELED, PRAY AND SACRIFICED TO GOD FOR REGIME CHANGE, and months later worship a false saint brought from África.
EARTHQUAKES IN VENEZUELA, JAPAN, PHILIPPINES AND SOME OTHER PARTS OF INDONESIA (volcano eruptions), yet people still think we aren't at the beginning of the end times. Open your eyes and embrace God’s Mercy in His only beloved Son Jesus, the ONLY way to Almighty Father.
My heart breaks for Venezuela, but their idol worshiping has been epic for many years. Rosaries up!

US Bishop Abolishes Another Mass in Roman Rite: Bishop William F. Medley of Owensboro, Kentucky, has ordered Rev. David Kennedy to stop celebrating according to the Roman Missal after June 30. He will only permit the Novus Ordo celebrated in Latin and ad orientem instead. Bishop Medley explains he cannot certify - as Vatican instructions required - that the parish has taken steps to move the faithful toward the Novus Ordo. He delayed action to see if Leo XIV would reconsider Traditionis Custodes but proceeded after the Cardinals' January Consistory declined to revisit the document.
