New Record: 14,000 Registered for Chartres Pilgrimage on First Day

Fourteen thousand people registered in a single day for the 2026 Notre-Dame de Chrétienté pilgrimage on the Paris–Chartres route, compared to 6,000 on the first day last year.
The pilgrimage will take place over Pentecost, from May 23 to 25, and is expected to gather 20,000 participants walking to Chartres.
A new, more accessible option - the “Jerusalem Route” - has been introduced. Shorter than the traditional 100 km walk (around 70 km), it is designed for those unable to complete the full distance. Like the main route, it also ends in Chartres, allowing more pilgrims to take part in the final stages of the pilgrimage.

Enoch Burke
@EnochBurke
BREAKING: Enoch Burke’s mother and sister arrested and jailed Martina and Ammi Burke were arrested by Gardaí today at Castlerea Prison after visiting jailed schoolteacher Enoch Burke, their son and brother. Judge Brian Cregan sentenced them to two weeks in prison after they spoke out against his lies and unlawful actions in the case of Enoch Burke.
Martina and Ammi Burke had been teaching in Castlebar this morning before travelling to Castlerea for their scheduled visit at 2.15pm. As they left the prison after concluding the visit, Gardaí were waiting outside to arrest them. Lies have been told from the bench since September 2022 when Enoch Burke was first taken from his teaching post at Wilson’s Hospital School and thrown into a jail cell. He refused to call a student by a new name and the “they” pronoun. He was subsequently suspended and has now spent over 600 days in prison.
Ireland’s church leaders have maintained a treacherous silence on this issue. …Caman

Liberal Huffington Post breathlessly wrote about the Pentagon and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth allegedly “excluding Catholics” from Good Friday services.
Jennifer Bendery, a senior politics reporter at the outlet,
wrote that the Pentagon “invited more than 3,500 employees to attend a Good Friday service at its in-house chapel.”
“Except it’s only for Protestants, not Catholics,” Bendery claimed.

Hundreds of empty seats during Leo XIV’s Easter Vigil: Matt Butorac, a Catholic pilgrimage guide, reported on X that there were “hundreds of empty seats” during the Easter Vigil at St Peter’s Basilica. The screenshots, taken from a video he shared for "those claiming it was not empty", show the basilica during the baptisms. Butorac attributes this to ticketing issues and disorganised queues. However, shortly before the Eucharist began, entry was permitted without tickets and everyone was able to enter.

All Public Easter Liturgies in Dubai Cancelled

Following government directives, public Easter services in Dubai have been cancelled since Good Friday. The regime's excuse is that tensions in the Middle East are escalating.
Dubai has two Catholic parishes - Saint Mary's and Saint Francis of Assisi in Jebel Ali. Both have confirmed the closures on their websites and will remain closed "until further notice".
Saint Mary’s Church is one of the largest Catholic parishes in the world, with around 30,000 members, many of whom are Filipino workers. On Good Friday, many Catholics who had not been informed of the closure were seen praying outside on the pavement instead.
Easter liturgies were only being streamed online.
Bishop Paolo Martinelli, Apostolic Vicar of Southern Arabia, acknowledged worshippers' disappointment at missing Holy Week celebrations.

Cardinal Ernest Simoni, 97, stood beside Pope Leo XIV during the Easter Urbi et Orbi blessing at St. Peter’s Basilica. A survivor of Communist persecution in Albania, he endured years of prison and forced labor. He is known for his fidelity to the Catholic faith and his attachment to traditional liturgy.

The cardinal is, "sympathetic" to the traditional Mass? How about rather he states the truth; The traditional Mass is infinitely pleasing to God, the Novus Ordo has protestant errors within it and is therefore not.

Girls are hitting puberty earlier than ever before — and the numbers are shocking. In the late 1800s, the average age was around 16–17. By the early 1900s it had dropped to 12.5–13. Today it’s down to about 11, with some Black and Hispanic girls showing signs as early as 8, 9, or even 6–7 years old — the earliest recorded in history. Patrick Bet-David asked FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary why this is happening. Makary pointed to the modern environment: constant exposure to substances and chemicals with estrogen-like binding properties (found even in river water) that partially activate estrogen receptors. He called it a “huge issue” and an existential threat to human development, noting the age has been dropping by about a week and a half every year for the last 30 years. He also mentioned that in Europe, where some of these exposures may be lower, puberty still starts later (14–15 in some cases), and that American medicine has largely treated this as a minor footnote rather than …Caman

Widespread Rise in Catholic Baptisms Across the Globe

Many dioceses across Europe, North America, and Asia have seen significant increases in Catholic baptisms and conversions this Easter. The strange thing is that anti-Catholic media including New York Times, Washington Post or CNN advertised this trend.
The most significant increase was reported in France, where 21,386 catechumens were baptized during the Easter Vigil. The total included more than 13,000 adults and over 8,000 adolescents, marking the highest figure ever recorded in the country.
Outside Europe, large numbers were also reported in parts of Asia. In Hong Kong, approximately 2,500 catechumens were baptized, while Singapore reported 1,089 catechumens entering the Church.
In North America, several major dioceses published substantial baptism figures. The Archdiocese of Toronto reported 1,584 catechumens, while Vancouver recorded around 650 catechumens.
In the United States, diocesan figures included approximately 900 catechumens in Richmond (Virginia), more than 680 in …Caman
